Major incident at petrol station. 7/10/2022.
Around 3:15pm an explosion occurred inside the building. Its is believed to be from the 1st floor flat above the shop. There were multiple people inside the busy local shop at the time. There are road diversions in place around the town to allow emergency vehicles and helicopters to access the site. The injured are being taken to Letterkenny General Hospital. The local school Scoil Mhuire is open to anyone who needs to go somewhere. Multiple people still unaccounted for.
